Work on the 155’ sloop “Troy” has intensified over the past month and the results are plain to see. The full beam master stateroom has now been completely insulated and is ready to be fitted out with wiring and plumbing before the cabinetry is fitted. Cabinetry is already being installed in the VIP staterooms, and workers are busy applying protective covering to the immaculate woodwork.
“Troy” is constructed with a steel hull and sides, whilst the upper superstructure is made from carbon fibre composite. These two units have now been permanently joined and the Esenyacht workforce is engaged in the important operation of sanding and fairing the superstructure prior to painting.
The galley on board “Troy” will be fitted out with the Electrolux “Grande Cuisine” system, making her the first ever super yacht to host this remarkable range of appliances. Carpenters and joiners have been occupied with the final adjustments to ensure that the fit and finishing meets the high levels of quality present throughout the rest of the yacht.
